about aleks
Aleks Pevec was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up surrounded by surfing enthusiasts, and in an environment where surfing was a natural pastime for everyone, regardless of gender, age, race, body size, or skill level. In High School, Aleks moved to Los Angeles, California, where his love of the ocean blossomed more everyday. After majoring in musical theater at UCLA, Aleks worked for a decade performing on Broadway in New York City. He is now based in LA and continues to work in professional theater and film. He founded Lipsmack out of a desire to share his passion of surfing with the world.
